Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026 · Applies to the BTC Cloud Miner Android app, iOS app, and cloudbtcminer.com
1. Who we are
BTC Cloud Miner ("we", "us", "our") operates the BTC Cloud Miner mobile applications and the website cloudbtcminer.com. For any privacy question or request, contact us at support@cloudbtcminer.com.
2. Data we collect
We collect only the data that is reasonably necessary to operate the platform and provide the services you have purchased.
- Account information — your email address, display name, and authentication identifiers required for sign-in. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive only the minimum profile data those providers share with us.
- Transaction records — a record of every plan purchase, withdrawal request, and promotional credit applied to your account, with timestamps and reference identifiers.
- Mining activity data — hashrate allocation per plan, reward calculations, daily streak status, and accumulated balance.
- Withdrawal details — the Bitcoin wallet address you provide when requesting a withdrawal.
- Device information — device model, operating system version, app version, language, and approximate region, used for security, fraud prevention, and compatibility.
- Communication records — if you contact support, we retain that communication to provide support and improve our services.
- Diagnostic and crash data — anonymised crash reports and performance diagnostics.
Data we do not collect
We do not collect government-issued identification unless required for a specific compliance purpose and only after explicit consent. We do not collect or store your bank account details or card numbers — payment processing is handled by Apple, Google, or Stripe, who maintain their own compliance with applicable financial regulations.
3. How we use your data
- To provide, maintain, and operate our services.
- To process transactions, allocate hashrate, calculate rewards, and pay withdrawals.
- To send service-related notifications, such as withdrawal status updates and important account notices.
- To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse of promotions, and violations of our Terms.
- To improve the platform and analyse aggregate usage patterns, using anonymised or aggregated data where possible.
- To comply with legal obligations, court orders, and regulatory requests.
Payout transparency
Completed withdrawals may be published on our public Payout Proof page as a record of payment. Only the date, the BTC amount, and the blockchain transaction ID are published — never your name, email address, or account identifiers. Bitcoin transactions are in any case publicly visible on the blockchain by design.
4. Advertising, analytics and cookies
- Advertising (mobile apps) — our apps display ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may process your device's advertising identifier to serve and measure ads, in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. You can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings, and where consent applies you will be asked before personalised ads are shown.
- Analytics (website and apps) — we use Google Analytics and Firebase to understand aggregate usage (pages viewed, feature usage, approximate region). This data is used in aggregate and is not used to identify you personally.
- Conversion measurement — the website uses Google Ads conversion tracking to measure the effectiveness of our advertising.
- Payments — website payments are processed by Stripe, which may use cookies for fraud prevention.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell, trade, lease, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Data is shared only with the service providers required to operate the platform:
- Payment processors (Apple, Google, Stripe) for secure handling of purchases.
- Cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform / Firebase) for storage and processing of platform data.
- Authentication providers (Apple, Google) for secure sign-in.
- Advertising and analytics providers (Google AdMob, Google Analytics) as described in section 4.
We may also disclose information when required by law, in response to valid legal process, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of BTC Cloud Miner, our users, or the public.
6. Data security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data in transit and at rest. Wallet addresses and financial-related information are stored encrypted (AES-256), and data in transit is protected with TLS 1.2 or higher. Access to user data is limited to what is required to operate and support the service.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
7. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account remains active and for a reasonable period thereafter as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. If you request deletion of your account, we will remove or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
8. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction — including under UK GDPR and EU GDPR — you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact support@cloudbtcminer.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).
9. Children
The platform is intended for users aged 18 and over, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email, and the "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
